I don't like conventional artists bios. They tend to be somewhat dry. Also, they usually contain long lists of various scholastic achievements and since I never finished school, I just end up feeling inadequate. Here are the basics- I came to Atlanta to attend art school about a million years ago and majored in spending vast sums of money on a very bad education. On the fortunate side, I found a good friend and gifted mentor in artist Brian Stelfreeze. Brian took me under his wing and taught me that an artist's growth and education never ends. Every single day should be treated as an opportunity to explore, discover, absorb and improve as an artist.

As I said, I don't care for traditional artist bios. If you really want to know about me, just look at my work. It speaks volumes. If that's just not enough though, here are some highlights;

Favorite Food - Fried Chicken (skillet. Not deep fried. Very important.)

Favorite Beverage - It's a toss up between coffee and scotch. I also drink water, but only when I'm thirsty.

Favorite Music - Classic Rock, Jazz, Swingin' Crooners

Favorite Song - Blue Skies (The Bobby Darin Version)

Favorite Books - David Copperfield, House of the Spirits, The Once and Future King. If you're not familiar with these go and google Charles Dickens, Isabel Allende, and T.H. White. You won't be sorry.

My Actual Favorite Movie - The Muppet Movie ( they're really the same movie now that I think about it)

Favorite Television - Boston Legal, The Daily Show, Venture Brothers

Hobbies - Kung Fu San Soo, Ballroom Dancing, Working Out, Sleeping in.

What makes me get out of bed each day - The persistent feeling that I've not had enough coffee.
