Artist's Statement-

“A painting tells a story and in my opinion the best stories are about ordinary people. Not people posing proudly in their best clothes or sheepishly mugging for the camera. I love to see people in their natural environment - when they’re going about their day. During those rare moments when they don’t know anyone is watching and their posture relaxes as self-consciousness melts away. Those are the moments that remind me to appreciate the innate beauty of every random individual lost in a crowd and wonder, ‘What’s their story?’
My work is meant to inspire the natural voyeur in everyone, and with any luck, awaken their inner storyteller.”
