____________________________________________________________________________________________________ I began my "Painting a Day" project because I was impressed and inspired by a similar project kept by an artist named Karin Jurick. Since then I've discovered that there are literally hundreds of other artists engaged in a "Painting a Day" project of some sort. I'd like to introduce you to my favorites. I'll probably add more eventually, but let's begin with the one's who've really caught my eye. Just click on the names to visit their sites. And do yourself and the art world a favor. Buy something! My personal favorite, Karin Jurick! The founder of "Painting a Day", Duane Keiser! ___________________________________________________________________________
I've recently been added to the Daily Painter's Art Gallery! Hundreds of the most talented artists you'll ever see! Do yourself a favor and visit them here: _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Panoply Interior Design of Newnan Georgia is opening a brand new gallery! The Flint Gallery of Panoply! Their grand opening reception was Friday the 16th, 2007 and featured some of the Atlanta area's most talented established and emerging artists. Me included! ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is the online home of The Juliette Gallery owned and operated by my friend Christian Waggoner. Christian has been kind enough to feature my work from time to time. The Juliette is an absolutely gorgeous space and Christian is one of the most talented artists I know. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Here's the website of my new friend Lee Johnson, a wonderful copper artist!
______________________________________________________________________________________________________ I discovered International Artist Magazine a while back and have become absolutely addicted. It's a thrill to find one in my mailbox! I read every inch cover to cover and come away truly inspired to paint.

Im a sucker for a well spun detective thriller. Robert Crais is my absolute favorite! Give him a try. You won't be sorry! ____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Some of the tropical themed paintings in the main gallery were inspired by a trip to the Caribbean in March of 2004. I sailed on a Windjammer barefoot cruise. Windjammers are smaller sailing vessels that afford a much more intimate cruise experience than those big floating hotels you generally associate with this type of trip. I had such a blast! I'm definitely going again next year. If you're the adventurous type, check them out!
Note: I've recently learned that the Windjammer Cruise Company is undergoing major financial upheaval of some sort and is actively trying to "weather the storm". I truly hope they succeed, as I would hate to think of a world without them.

I started taking ballroom dance lessons in secret as a surprise for my wife but slowly became addicted. This is the site of the Fred Astaire Atlanta schools. I study at the downtown King Plow Arts Center location. Come take a spin around the floor with us!

This is the site of an extremely talented young guy who has appeared in a number of my paintings. I love to paint musicians. Especially jazz musicians. I first caught this guy playing with a quartet while he was a student in the GSU jazz program. Now he's tearing up the New York music scene. Check him out here; 2.1
